The Elias Nassief Foundation continues its mission to improve the lives of those in need by providing support to numerous charitable organizations.

Since its inception on October 3, 1995, the foundation has distributed more than $2 million in aid.

Today, its work continues under a new board of directors comprised of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Elias and Marie Nassief.

Under the leadership of the new board, we remain committed to carrying forward the foundation’s enduring mission with dedication and focus.

The Foundation hosted its first gala on November 29, 2025, at the Fort Young Hotel. The evening featured dinner and dancing, along with both silent and live auctions.

The event proved to be an immense success, generating over $70,000 EC in revenue. After expenses of approximately $25,000, the gala produced a net profit of $45,000. The entire amount was returned to the foundation’s account and, together with additional funds, was distributed during a ceremony held on January 23, 2026. On that occasion, donations were presented to 30 deserving organizations

Immense thanks to all those who donated to make this possible – whether it was an auction item, services, goods, your time, or just a monetary donation – every bit helped in our final achievment.

Over the past year, our activities were somewhat limited as a significant amount of time and discussion during meetings was devoted to planning our Gala. With that successful event now behind us, we are looking forward to expanding our outreach efforts.

Moving forward, we plan to host two to three events per year where we can sponsor initiatives, teams, or charitable organizations that require funding to carry out their missions and provide aid to those in need, not forgetting our annual recipients.

Our most recent event was the sponsorship of a meal for the homeless at the Grotto Home for the Homeless, where we had the opportunity to support and serve members of our community experiencing hardship.
