The Annual Donation Ceremony of the Elias Nassief Foundation
The event, held on Jan 23 2026 at the Fort Young Hotel, was well attended and consisted mostly of recipients and donors from the gala event.
The foundation raised $70k from the gala, netted $40k, and distributed a total of $85k to the recipients.
The ENF will continue to contribute on an annual basis to those in need to carry on the legacy of the founding fathers.
Elias Nassief Foundation’s 30th Anniversary
Gala & Fundraiser Dinner
On November 29 2025 at the Fort Young Hotel, the Elias Nassief Foundation hosted a very special Anniversary Gala & Fundraiser Dinner to commemorate three decades of dedicated service to the people of Dominica.
Proceeds from the evening will directly fund new and ongoing initiatives aimed at helping the most vulnerable in Dominica.
Ventilator Donation
In response to the urgent medical needs brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019, the Elias Nassief Foundation swiftly acted to support Dominica’s healthcare system.
Recognizing the critical shortage of ventilators at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital, ENF sourced and delivered a much-needed ventilator in March 2021, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to the well-being of the Dominican people.

Numerous Annual Donations
Since its founding in 1995, the Elias Nassief Foundation has hosted annual award ceremonies dedicated to supporting communities across Dominica.
Although a few years were missed due to natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic, the tradition remains a cherished event each year, typically held in the latter part of the year. The recipients of these donations benefit immensely, and the Foundation’s contributions continue to have a far-reaching and deeply appreciated impact on the lives of many.
Christmas Grotto
On December 17, 2024, the Elias Nassief Foundation brought warmth and joy to the residents of the Grotto Home for the Homeless by treating them to a delightful meal catered by The Orchard Restaurant.
All 50 residents, along with their dedicated caretakers, thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude, companionship, and heartfelt appreciation—a true testament to the power of community and compassion.
Annual Donation Ceremonies
One of the most meaningful aspects of the Foundation’s annual ceremonies is the presentation of a $5,000 grant to a distinguished organization selected by the Board. This honor is awarded to a group that has demonstrated exceptional impact and made a substantial contribution to Dominican society.
These awards reflect the Foundation’s commitment to recognizing and supporting visionary efforts that uplift and transform communities across the island.
